A slow release of one’s breath has been shown to signal safety to your brain, reducing both physiological and psychological anxiety*. *Medically reviewed by Cleveland Box (4-4-4-4) Breathing Technique:A simple, powerful relaxation technique that uses equal four-second intervals of inhaling, holding, exhaling, and holding again. Popularized by military operators, it helps reduce stress, calm the nervous system, and improve focus. Wim Hof Breathing Method: *Due to certain side effects, it’s recommended that you sit or lie down before attempting this technique. Never do it while driving, or performing other activities that require constant motor control. - Force yourself to briefly hyperventilate by taking 30-40 quick, deep breaths. Inhale through your nose or mouth and exhale through your mouth. Make sure that each breath fills both your belly and chest and that they follow one another in short, powerful bursts. - After you’ve finished your 30-40 rapid breaths, inhale deeply, let it out, then stop breathing. Keep your lungs uninflated for as long as you can. - Finally, take one final deep breath and hold it in your lungs for about 15-30 seconds. Your lips are one of the most sensitive parts of your body - and metal is such an efficient conductor of heat that it either makes your lips super cold or hot directly through the temperature of the drink. Silicone, on the other hand is a great insulator, but it often absorbs odours from the previous drink, mixing it into the next drink you sip from. CPR: Casual Parachord Restore started from my grandmother’s vintage LV bag which was in good condition except for its broken leather straps. The challenge if I restored it directly with a new leather strap was getting the leather colour to match back to the original aged leather. Simply putting on a new beige leather strap would look oddly out of place. Integrating the new double braided parachord with patterns on gave it a fresh breathe of life and the parachord’s gold accents blended perfectly with the monogram patterns on the bag.
